|Cheryl Lynch has been one of the key points of contact for competitors and officials within Motor Sports House in recent years. Cheryl joined the MSA in the late eighties and since 1998 has been at the forefront of dealing with club officials, licence enquiries and senior officials. Her new role as Race, Kart and Speed Executive will see her become more involved with the approval of race championships, the MSA`s committees and the Motor Sports Council.
Cheryl`s current position as Licensing Manager will be filled by new recruit Steve Redhead who joins the MSA with a strong track record in customer services. He will continue the programme of technological developments that has transformed the licensing department in recent years and will oversee an even greater emphasis on providing the MSA`s customers with the best possible service.
“I`ve really enjoyed working as Licensing Manager,” says Cheryl. "We`ve made some major changes in recent years, particularly in terms of technology which has provided the new tracking process for licence holders. That has had a major impact, not only on the MSA staff, but also on the licence holders themselves. I`m really looking forward to this new challenge and can`t wait to get started."
Steve comments: “My background is in a customer service role and I`ve had a long interest in motor sport so this is an ideal position for me. I`ve been at the MSA a few weeks preparing to take over from Cheryl and I`ve been very impressed with what I`ve seen so far, particularly at what is the busiest time of the year."
