Use your voice, urges MSC Chairman
The chairman, who took up the position at the start of the year, outlined his ambitions at the Council meeting on 3 June. He stressed that it was important to encourage those involved in club motor sport to make their views known. The established process for this is through the local MSA-affiliated clubs and upwards to the Regional Associations who will ensure that views and opinions are brought to the attention of the leading people in UK motor sport.

The chairman also took the opportunity to remind members of Council to submit a brief CV for inclusion on a new section of the MSA website – part of an initiative to make those at the top of the sport more visible to the people they represent.

"It is essential that the Council represents the views of all parts of the sport," confirmed Stoker. "We have a very wide representation, but I am not convinced that the average participant or licence holder has any idea who represents his (or her) views where it really counts. Council members have a very important role to play and I want to make sure that we are using the very well structured organisation to best effect."
