Cooper Tires British F3 Championship

Round 2: Rockingham, 4-5 May

Sam MacLeod took the early championship lead with a brace of wins in the season-opener at Rockingham, where Matt Rao was also a winner.

MacLeod was the class of the field in race one and was unruffled by either an attack at the second corner of the first lap or a mid-race safety car period. He then came from fourth on the grid to win the second race ahead of Martin Cao and Alice Powell.

Rao made a superb start and withstood early pressure from team-mate MacLeod to win the third and final race of the weekend.
